For me, an important part of life is giving back to my community as I'm able. Since I love animals, I like to support various non-profit organizations that are involved with helping animals in various ways. To spread the love around, I designate a different animal-related charity organization to receive a percentage of the proceeds from pendants in a certain category. Below are listed the different charity organizations I support and the pendant categories that help support them.
 Honu.org |
Honu.org is a non-profit organization that helps protect the endangered honu sea turtle through education and legislation. I donate 10% from the sale of each glass sea turtle pendant to Honu.org. You can donate directly to Honu.org by visiting the Honu.org Facebook Causes page. |
More Fish in the Sea |
More Fish in the Sea is a non-profit organization that's part of the Hawaii Wildlife Fund. It works to preserve the health of the ocean and all the fish that depend on a clean place to live. I donate 5% from the sale of each glass fish pendant to More Fish in the Sea. You can donate directly to More Fish in the Sea by visiting the More Fish in the Sea Facebook Causes page. |
 Greenhill Humane Society |
Greenhill Humane Society is a non-profit animal shelter on the outskirts of Eugene, OR. It's one of the nicest I've ever visited and features a spacious large-windowed room where most of the cats hang out together. I donate 5% from the sale of each piece of glass pet cremation jewelry to the Greenhill Humane Society. You can donate directly here. |
